In fact, that is an easy question to answer. Once you have selected a place, you will be shown a list with dates available for advertising within the Location selection area. The first mentioned date there is, at the same time, the earliest date available for advertising.

No. Unfortunately, you cannot book outdoor advertising for the next year. However, this is not due to 1-2-3-Plakat.de, but due to the poster companies owning the billboards. They usually publish and release the dates and prices for the next year not until October/November. We would like to ask you to try it once again in November or send us an e-mail and we will get back to you as soon as bookings for the next year are possible.

Go to the area location selection and enter the place of your choice. Select the desired date, too, and all available advertising spaces will be shown. If you cannot detect your desired location at once, you can use the "advanced search" feature to limit your search results.

Do you mean how fast I am to hang up a poster or how much time it takes to use a poster for advertising purposes? To hang the poster up, it takes me about 5 to 10 minutes, provided everything is well organised and there is no storm.
If you would rather like to know from what time you may book your poster, please have a look at number 1– Location selection. Once you have selected a place, you need to let us know the date on which you would like to publish your poster. And we promise  that we will meet this date.

Prices depend on the location. Advertising spaces in places less frequently visited are less expensive than attractive locations, for example in larger cities.

Once you have chosen a date on which your poster should be hung up, I will search only for available advertising locations and will show you only these. This guarantees that we won't have any problems with concerning the date. If your desired location is not included, please try a different period of time.

There are roughly 180,000 billboards available in Germany that can be individually booked. We offer all of them and will clearly show you which advertising location is available or not on a certain date. Our Location selection is really a great tool!

Unfortunately, it isn't. Posters are always rented for ten days and changed after this period. If you want your motif to be published for a longer period of time, you may book several periods of ten days in a row.

Unfortunately, it took some time, but finally I have found a solution for replacing a text of one of our design templates:

1. Select the desired template.
2. Select "new colour field“ and cover the unwanted text field with the colour field.
3. Select "new text field" and enter your text; you may even place several text fields next to each other.

As for individual painting it's a bit difficult, actually way too complicated: who will clean the billboard's frame for example if something goes wrong?

Posters to be placed at billboards require a certain type of paper and must be produced in quite large individual parts. You will find only a handful of print shops in Germany that are capable to do so. You may download the respective printing guidelines on our homepage. If you go to Location selection and select an advertising location, directly proceed to checkout and you will find information on "how to individually print and send posters". All risks linked to non-professional printing, poster customising or dispatch will be transferred to you. You really should keep this in mind. It would be a pity if your poster project doesn't take place for the poster cannot be hung up because it does not ride out the preparation procedures.

Yes, you can upload PDF files now using our poster designer tool:

• file format: 595 mm* x 392 mm*, plus 3 mm* bleed (final size + 6 mm* in height and 6 mm in width)  (*approx. 23.5'' x 15.5'', plus 0.12''; 6 mm equals approx. 0.24'')
• resolution: at least 240 dpi, optimum 300 dpi
• colours: in accordance with scale (CMYK)
• file: high resolution PDF file, maximum size 12 MB

Please upload this file using the feature "own background or PDF" in the poster designer tool. You may additionally edit your motif there using the available editing tools.

You can use the price calculator for the calculation and overview of all costs. Simply enter the number of locations you would like to book and the price will be coughed up immediately.

The design should immediately strike the viewer in order not to be missed. Include a funny text or an unusual motif and every poster becomes an eye catcher. Texts, fonts, images, and colours should be eye-catching and attractive, as the content is immediately understandable and also readable when passing it from a distance.

That is due to the image files. Try it once again with a higher resolution of the image. Otherwise, images might become blurred due to the large size of the posters. My colleagues told me that the image should feature at least 300dpi - whatever this means.

Once the poster expires, a new poster will be pasted over it. However, you can order additional posters (e.g. a small format of it) to be sent to your home. This is done during step 3. Sorry, but once it is pasted, it truly remains there.

The easiest way for you is to visit the area Location selection. Select your desired place and date(s) for your advertisement. Then, you will be shown all locations available at the selected date(s) (if you selected several dates: a white box means "billboard is available", while a grey box means "billboard is not available").

Now you can select the respective advertising spaces by ticking the white box at the end of the selected location line. The individual costs will be instantly shown at the end of the line. If you check the box "costs for poster printing and dispatch" at the bottom of the page, you will be shown the total costs (rental, printing and dispatch costs) for your advertisement at the bottom of the page.

You can view the images of the advertising spaces by left-clicking the location (a further click will enlarge the image).

Once you are done, please save and change to motif design. Here, you can design your individual poster or upload a finished poster motif from your computer.

Everything will be combined in the shopping basket. Here, you can also send off your order. It's really easy.

No matter how carefully my colleagues and I work, something does break from time to time. Or the weather conditions are so bad that posters are being damaged. I always check the poster I had hung up before. If I detect damage, I can immediately hang up a spare poster. Just in case, so to speak. If you do not want to order a spare poster, then enter "0" when placing your order. But don't blame me then for not changing a damaged poster.

Talking about the age of a placarder is a taboo. Let me tell you this: you wouldn't actually call me young, but I am young enough to continue to hang up great posters for a long time.

More than 9 square meters; it measures approx. 3.60m in width and 2.60m in height. This equals approx. 140'' x 100''. 

The term 18/1 originates from the fact that the area of the billboard represents 18 times the DIN A1 format.... or something like that, who would want to know such complicated things anyway?

No, this would mean that I had to puzzle each time I hang up a poster. Today, posters are produced in four pieces. Here's my tip for you: when designing your poster, position your numbers, texts, images or graphics in a way that "sensitive parts", such as eyes, nose or certain letters, are not placed directly on the trimming edges. Otherwise, this may lead to bad surprises. In case my colleagues hang up the posters really fast, an "8" might easily turn into a "3", or you will see a squint in the eyes of your sweetheart.
