Special provisions regarding political and party advertising & religious advertising on poster sites

What does “no politics/religion” mean?
At some poster advertising locations, the property owner has contractually excluded advertising with political or religious content. We must respect this. We have marked these locations with no politics/religion. Unfortunately, not all providers inform us of this exclusion, which means that even at an unmarked location, a subsequent rejection may occur.
We will inform you whether political and/or religious advertising is possible at your desired location in our order confirmation (please do not confuse this with our order confirmation).
For this reason, it is essential to state immediately that the advertisement is political in nature when making any inquiry or booking. In addition, the respective provider will subject the motif to a separate review. A binding confirmation of the placement is therefore only possible after the motif has been submitted and reviewed.
If the motif is rejected by the provider, the costs will be refunded. However, if a booking is made without reference to the political nature of the advertisement, it may not be possible to display the poster; in this case, no refund will be made. We would also like to point out that political advertising is more frequently the target of vandalism, which may result in direct claims by the providers against the advertisers.

Information about EU-Regulation TTPA
on the transparency and targeting of political advertising
Regulation (EU) 2024/900 on transparency and targeting of political advertising (“TTPA Regulation”) has been in force in the EU since October 10, 2025. It obliges both clients and service providers to comply with certain requirements regarding transparency, labeling, and documentation in political advertising.
Advertising materials must be designed accordingly and clearly recognizable as political advertising. In addition, the required transparency notices must be integrated, for example through additional information or a QR code that provides the necessary details.
The key obligations of the TTPA Regulation include, among others:
clear labeling of advertising material as political advertising,
the name of the sponsor and relevant sources of funding,
Information about the target audience, the placement period, and the channels used,
Compliance with special data protection requirements for targeting or analysis procedures,
and, where applicable, the transmission of campaign data to the transparency register provided for by the EU.
Please note that some platforms or media providers may only accept political advertising under certain conditions or may restrict its display.

What needs to be considered in political advertising?
EU Regulation (EU) 2024/900 on the transparency of political advertising stipulates that political advertising must be clearly marked, certain transparency information must be provided, and additional information must be included directly on the advertising material (e.g., a reference with a link to the corresponding transparency declaration).
